EVENT: Downtown Providence Stroll w/ Trails and Walks RI

MEETING LOCATION: Street Parking at the Intersection of Bridge and Tockwotten, meet at Mile End Park by the Hurricane Barrier (41.816528, -71.400861)
DESCRIPTION:
We will take a two-mile stroll through part of the city, exploring nature, art, and history. We will pass some old trees along Benefit Street before making our way into the Riverwalk. We will also stop to visit the mushroom mural in the Financial District. This will be a leisurely tour, stopping to discuss historic locations and natural features we may find along the way!

Hike Info:
All hikes are “Show and Go”. There is no need to sign up for the hike. You must arrive 5 minutes (or earlier) before the scheduled hike time. The hike will start promptly at the scheduled time. Please keep in mind that some hikes can be strenuous. Please do not sign up for a hike that you don’t think that you can physically do. In the event of foul weather the hike leader will decide if the hike will be canceled or postponed and will post an update on the Hiking Clubs main feed. Please check the Hiking Clubs page prior to leaving for the hike to see if it has been canceled or postponed.
