It’s fall and a fantastic time to look for the fungi who rot! The cooler weather is the preferred season of many fungi that are the recyclers of the forest. Take a walk on Historic Borders Farm’s trails with local mushroom enthusiast Deana Thomas. We will discuss the fungi we find and learn about the importance of fungi in ecosystems.

If you have a hand lens or magnifying glass it may be helpful, as we will be observing many small things. If you have a UV flashlight please bring it!
